Newly opened in Sion. This restaurant is one of the best around town. The location is not the most ideal, at the corner of a busy crossroad with no view but the interior design certainly makes up for it. Soft lighting, comfortable chairs and good atmosphere. The staff are really friendly, attentive but discreet. The service was fast, we didn't have to wait despite the resaturant being packed. The food was delicious. We had the antipasto, then the moules and Tagliata. We were really pleased, the moules were fresh. The meat was very tender, great seasoning. Really good, cannot complain. First time in this lovely restaurant. The employees are very helpful and the atmosphere is pleasant. We were very well received. The dishes were very good, the only downside was the quantities. We had a foie gras starter and found the quantity a little small. Same thing for the lobster pasta dish, the quantity of dough was good but it said 1/2 shelled lobster and there was only the claw and a few extra bits…. We were a little disappointed. On the other hand, it was very good and very well presented.
2nd disappointment on the last two passages. During the 1st, on site, the service was friendly but outdated, and one of the dishes was inedible (as noted by the server, but without an offer); the 2nd, taken away, arrived 20' after the announced time, in two stages (so part of it was cold), and 2 of the 3 shrimps charged extra CHF 7.50 were still gray and therefore not cooked... There has a good background, but the involvement is not shared by all team members. There is degradation over time.
Excellent in all areas: welcome, cuisine, service (a little overwhelmed sometimes when the restaurant is full, especially at the end of the meal to get the bill , decoration and rather warm atmosphere.
