Tonight we hosted an event for a Newcomers and Neighbors Club from a neighboring town. We have hosted our couples kickoff event here for the last few years but almost changed venues because our members have been complaining about the service at this restaurant. We decided to give then another shot. We always host our event in their upstairs loft. It has lots of entertainment like shuffleboard and a pool table. I wanted to give it one more star but I just couldn't. Let me start with the food.... Delicious! We had a quinoa salad, artichoke dip and Impossible burgers. Everything was great not one complaint about the food. Here's where it goes wrong. We called ahead and it was loud but we figured well it's a Sunday during football season. As for the food, we tried a variety of dishes, including the wings which were on special that night. They were delicious and definitely worth the low price. I liked that they offered both sauced and dry rub options for the wings. The beer selection was also good, with some nice craft beer choices alongside the regular options. I appreciated that many of the beers were from local breweries.
The service was friendly and our waitress made some good recommendations. She also got our food out quickly, which was great. However, we did find it a bit odd that she couldn't answer some of our questions about serving sizes and dessert options. We joked that it felt like another customer was serving us...
This review is to recount a recent experience with an individual at Stone and Rail who has soured a long standing relationship. Our contact Kaz , who claimed throughout the night he was the manager/bar back/owner (if it sounds confusing: it was), changed our pre-booked party room without notice. We were upset at the change and voiced our frustration. He agreed to give us a discount for the inconvenience, which we were fine with and considered the matter settled. When we went to settle the bill, he refused to honor his statement from earlier in the evening and claimed he never said he offered a discount (although multiple witnesses heard). Went last night for the first time, save yourself your time and money and look elsewhere. The hostess was lovely and we were seated quickly. Then it took forever for the server to arrive. We ordered boneless Buffalo wings, and the potato skins. First up the boneless wings, they looked like they came out of a Costco bag, crappy, over cooked and tasteless. VERY underwhelming! . Next up the $10 potato skins. Well can you picture ONE potato cut in half with a topping. Seriously? ONE small potato? Wendy's tastes better AND costs $8 less!! The burgers we ordered were good. This place has the worst customer service! We held an event there last night where the manager/ bartender/ contractor/ general manager changed the room on us at the last minute, didn't give us a promised discount and was all around nasty to party members. His titles may be confusing, cause they were.. he kept changing his title and the reason for not giving us the room we reserved many times throughout the night. He refused to speak to us to talk about the a situation and instead acted irrationally and childlike. Poorest customer experience ever! I would not go back and encourage others to think twice about giving your money to that kind so an establishment!
I'm sorry to say that this establishment has gone downhill the last few months. Last night service was atrocious. Food was good as usual but shouldn't have taken about 40 minutes to come out on a Wednesday evening. I've been coming regularly for awhile and have seen lots of new faces the last few months, likely with new management. I genuinely have enjoyed coming here, but after last night, I'm not sure how quickly I'll come back again.
This restaurant is terrible. They serve frozen pub food. The manager is incredibly incompetent, with staff members who are just as clueless. The owner and staff are unprofessional and rude. I have no idea how this place manages to stay open. Do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment. I only gave it one star because I had to choose something.

The manager and owner of this restaurant are extremely unprofessional. If you are looking for a good meal, a great time, and friendly staff, I would recommend going elsewhere. Additionally, the prices are too high and the food is not very impressive.
Sorry food and booze are overpriced and food is definitely subpar, plus the owner and owners group is a joke. I won't support his business or any future businesses he supports!
