As a first-time customer, I ordered a dirty chai tea latte with almond milk. Since they didn't offer almond milk, I reluctantly opted for oat milk, hoping it would still taste good. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I tried the drink after leaving the shop but didn’t ask for a remake since I had other things to take care of. Once I got home, I added Splenda and cinnamon, and I'm now considering throwing in a regular chai tea bag to enhance the chai flavor, as the dominant taste was more coffee than anything else. At $7 for a medium-sized drink (which they label as large), I believe they should have almond milk available, provide coffee stoppers to prevent spills during transport...
My love of this place is almost entirely driven by the space. Great place for social gatherings with indoor and outdoor seating. I'd otherwise give it around a 2.9 or 3. Coffee is fairly mediocre. Every time I order an Americano, it comes out with none of the crema on top. A little on the acidic side usually. The hours change is a serious deterrent. I love to sit at a coffee shop and order multiple drinks and snacks throughout the day but they are closing at 1pm these days. I'm not sure if their Google and Yelp info is updated however. The food selection is pretty meh. I think they would benefit from either removing it entirely or kicking it up a notch.
The atmosphere is fantastic, with an old hippie and artistic vibe. It's a lovely neighborhood gem. I'm really looking forward to when they start hosting live music again; we heard some incredible free performances that definitely deserve more recognition. There’s also a great selection of light food options to satisfy everyone.
As a first-time visitor, I had a wonderful experience. Mark was friendly and brought our coffee to our table outside, which I really appreciated. The restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and an outdoor area that overlooks a green space across the street. Definitely worth a visit!

I can't believe it's gone. I moved out of state in 2014 and made sure to visit every time I came home. I know the pandemic has hit everyone relentlessly, however this was unexpected. I was sure the community would find a way. Today is a very sad day.
I have been a customer at this restaurant for many years, and they never disappoint. The staff is friendly and capable, and they always find great ways to entertain their guests. There's always something fun happening!
I had never been here before but I fell in love! Such a cute, hip and eclectic little space. They have outdoor seating and a bunch of windows and plants. They serve the BEST chai latte in all of STL.
Always delicious coffee, great food and atmosphere, would absolutely recommend, this is one of my favorite coffee shops!
