I NEVER leave reviews, but I just had to share this with you guys. I was just craving breakfast food. I had no idea when I ordered from The Stray Hen Cafe that I was about to embark on an epic journey of deliciousness. The food was incredibly fresh. I was SHOCKED by how flavorful each item was. This wasn’t just basic breakfast food. The menu has to have been hand crafted by a chef or something because it’s just THAT GOOD. I ordered the O’Brien skillet with a biscuits and gravy side, corned beef hash, and the Apple Churro French Toast. First of all, I’ll be eating for 3 days, the portion sizes are fantastic! Breakfast or brunch on your mind? This place takes care of that need. 75% of the menu is dedicated to breakfast items that will probably scratch whatever craving itch you have. Ordered a South Side scramble and found it delicious. At first I thought it looked a little meager next to the potatoes, but after eating I was full. Also the price point is perfect for what you are getting. I recommend it. If it's busy your service might take a little longer. That's my only gripe.
Wow! This place is amazing!! The food and beverages here are so delicious. I'm a very healthy eater and they have so many options I almost couldn't decide! Breakfast bowls, omelets, fresh fruit, and so much more! The toast that they serve tastes freshly made (or perhaps from a local bakery perhaps. The coffee, latte, tea selection is excellent! Kids options are great. Portions are not outrageous. Highly recommend!!

Totally cute brunch place. Good good and drinks everything was fresh. I would not recommend the poke bowl salad tho it's not authentically Asian. No sesame oil, it was just vegetables mango and tuna pieces served with soy sauce on some lettuce. My friends got actual breakfast food that looked very delicious, like hefty skillets and pink pancakes
Really liked this place. We mostly ordered breakfast and they were good! Service was good too even when we came during peak brunch hours on a Saturday. Pricing is reasonable for the food we got. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Best to book in advance as they?re quite a popular spot in the area. Overall, I recommend this place.
This was a nice place to eat The food was good and it did not take too long to be served. I had a southwest style Skillet it was good, but not as flavorful as I was expecting. I'm guessing that the restaurant keeps the flavors mild because of the community they serve.
