I love this place. But I’ll be honest and admit the only dishes I’ve tried from the menu is the combination laksa and salt and pepper calamari. BUT. Let me explain. I was born and bred in Darwin, the capital of multicultural foods (as far...as I’m concerned I’ve lived in every state excluding WA, and this place serves one of the best laksa’s I’ve ever tasted outside Darwin. What I find disappointing is how most Thai restaurants ‘un-Australian-ises’ their food, however Street of Asia’s combination laksa is quite simply delicious. So is the salt pepper squid. Yes. Families are welcome. Yes. The decor isn’t the trendiest; but. Value for money awesome. Taste fantastic. Highly recommended
I would not rate this restaurant but had to give at least one star to register my concern. Firstly, the owner and staff were in denial that the food had bits of skewers left inside a pieces of chicken and their response when I alerted...them to me nearly chocking on the pieces was “...we are covered by insurance”. So if you would like to play Russian roulette then I suggest you order the satay chicken sticks. Not recommended as a restaurant
First time here. A group of and only received meals which were enjoyable. I really do not like the cutlery container being moved from table to table to table. People talk, laugh and cough over this. No serviettes . Room for improvement. Chicken...pieces in the stir fry chicken were so large and nothing to cut it with. I don't think they even had a knife in the restaurant
Good for an inexpensive dinner before the movies etc. Fresh spring rolls are always good, as are the Pad Thai and Laksa. Service is nothing flash but food is decent. Not too expensive and ingredients all appear fresh and well cooked

Popular place that serves good food but the chilli beef is what keeps us coming back Prices are reasonable and staff are gentle and friendly They also sell a selection of ready made food from the front (during lunch time) window
This restaurant is a favorite of ours. The service is always prompt and the food is consistently delicious. They serve the best laksa in the city, hands down! Their spring rolls and the amazing noodle soup are also delicious.
I've been here a few times over the years for lunch. It's good "standard" Asian food (e.g. laksas and other standard Chinese and Thai dishes). I'd recommend it
Friendly service, good food at a reasonable price. Food is fresh and tasty the fresh spring rolls, prawn soup and beef pho did not disappoint
