When I pointed this out to the employee, she quickly acknowledged the mistake and apologized but said they couldn’t refund the money. She then called her manager and returned offering a cookie to make up for the difference. Like others have mentioned, my experience was awful, frustrating, and humiliating. I’m 73 and living on Social Security income. I went in with a $3.49 coupon to get the Italian BMT as a treat after a medical appointment. I arrived just before noon when it wasn’t busy. I told the employee I couldn’t have the spicy salami, so I asked how many meats come on the sandwich. She said three, so I agreed and mentioned regular salami and ham, then asked if turkey could be the third. She said yes but never mentioned there would be a $1.50 extra charge. After paying with my bank card, I noticed the extra fee. She called the manager, who then started interrogating me in front of everyone, repeatedly sayi...
This restaurant is terrible! They either fail to open on time or don’t open at all. And when they finally do open, they are unprepared—no bread, and other essentials missing.
The employees here are always so pleasant and helpful. They make my visits most enjoyable. .......and the food is always good and fresh

The Subway in downtown Upland is an amazing spot! The sandwiches are fantastic, and the staff is outstanding!
They advertised as being open, but they actually close at 1:30. They should really update their hours.
