However, when I walked in, there was no greeting or smile—just a glare, even though there were no other customers at the time. Although this wasn’t the welcome I was expecting, I let it slide, as friendly service is generally a basic expectation in the customer service industry.
I placed my order, and once my sandwich and other meal deal items were prepared, I decided to request something else from the menu. The lady huffed and puffed, then had to come around the front of the counter to access the dining area—although it seemed a bit inconvenient for her, I assumed it was necessary. She then slammed the door and shouted that I should have ordered that at the beginning.
