Nice pub in a convenient and fabulous area. We’ve been for drinks before but never a meal. We had tasty starters calamari and grilled goats cheese). I enjoyed my chicken main with dauphinois potatoes and the pie was good, which is the main that my husband had. Good selection of wines and beers. Service was attentive and friendly.
Excellent service and delicious food! My friend and I opted for the pie and it was the best pie we have ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant, but make sure to make a reservation in advance as it is extremely popular.
Excellent service , we asked to move tables it wasn’t an issue , they were accommodating , attentive it was a beautiful roast dinner. It was so nice to walk into a pub where the fire was lit the welcome was just as warm.
We were recommended this pub by our landlady and were not disappointed. It is a great pub with delicious food at competitive prices. We will definitely be returning next time we are working at the course. Réservez une table maintenant
The service and food were both exceptional at this restaurant. I highly recommend it for any occasion and it is a great place to bring the whole family.
We both loved our meals. My husband had the lamb and red wine pie and I had the blade of beef. They were perfectly cooked, as were the accompanying veg.
Lovely food and venue. My friend and I had the sharing dish for lunch called Pie Flight and it was made up of three homemade pies with gravy delicious!
