After reading several TA reviews about this bakery, my husband & I decided to give it a try. They had a very limited selection of sweets & those they did have were about two-bite-sized. They were relatively inexpensive. But, none of their selection tempted me to buy. My husband purchased a coffee. As soon as he tasted it, he added cream. As he always takes his coffee black, I knew it was not good quality coffee. I could not figure out why this business has such good reviews?
The breakfast cookies are super ! The scones even better If we don't have time for a coffee & treat we make sure to have a take away ! The owner/ baker is always very pleasant & adds to the enjoyment ! Her baked treats are delicious & very reasonably priced - well worth a stop ! Your family will thank you if you bring home the baked goods .
Just of the main road in Merrickville is a lovely little bake shoppe. Great grilled cheese sandwich made up in 10 minutes enjoyed with some baked treats in a warm afternoon sunshine. Baked treats on this day included Butter Tarts, Cream Puffs, Date Squares, Cookies and more...
A lovely place with a lovely owner who will make you feel at home.The cosy ambience of the shop calls for some rest. Take a book, a latte and a piece of cake and enjoy the place.Try the sugar tart or the quiche.This a place to go for sure if you are visiting Merrickville.
