My wife and I went there for dinner for my Birthday, living in KOP for the past 10 years this was one of the restaurant we near visited. And plus our neighbor gave us 2 gift cards so we have to use it. We were seated very quickly no waiting which is a plus. A total of 3 staff members including our waitress came to our table and each said they will bring bread to our table (a little bit later about this). I ordered the bone-in steak and my wife ordered the pan seared sea bass. We got our food, my steak was good but my wife sea bass was still frozen in the middle! Our meal was good. Two people ordered the prix fixe and another ordered the Cowboy Ribeye on Bone. The meat was cooked to the preference of those who ordered. On the other hand, although our waitress was solicitous and very nice, the wait was exceptionally long, especially considering that the restaurant was not very busy. Some of the things that were requested, for example some more butter for the bread, were so late in coming that the bread was cold and the meal about over before it was received. Another place that i didnt even want to give 1 star to but had to write the review! I made a reservation for 7pm for myself and 2 friends. I arrived, the hostess greeted and then requested for us to wait. Only for her to come back out in less than 30 seconds that she could not serve us due to our attire! Yet when I made the reservations, there was absolutely nothing stating that there was a dress code requirement. Because I was shocked at what just happened, I rechecked the website to be sure of myself. Only to find the dress code requirement at the very bottom of the website. I found it embarrassing being a worker of the healthcare field and being turned away due to my attire.
dining at prices. Nothing here was fantastic. Would not recommend or return. As info I have been to them all- Ruth Chris’, Mortons, Capital Grill etc. most are overpriced by nature but do serve a good meal. While everyone at the table ate, no one was wowing. Everything was cooked correct, service was fine. But again nothing extraordinary. PAINFULLY average. No disrespect I have had taster steaks at Texas Road House at a 1/3 of the price. I have eaten at Sullivan's now in two different states. Let me assure you, it doesn't matter where you go. Their food and service are always going to be top-notch. Everything from the salad to sharable sides to the main course is absolutely amazing. Go treat yourself to a great experience and great food!! You will be glad you did.
