I have a special fondness for Sun Ming. It has been in Irmo for as long as I can remember. The restaurant's interior is stunning; it has an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. While dinner is always enjoyable, the real gem is getting takeout for lunch. It's typically very quick, and the quality is consistently excellent. I frequently walk over from work to grab lunch. The staff is always incredibly friendly. Parking can be a hassle when it’s busy, but since I usually walk for lunch, it’s not a big deal for me.
Ordered take out on a Monday evening… October 10th. Food Scorched. Burnt smell will not and has not gone away....2 hours after pick up still scalding....greasy, burnt… disgusting. Obviously, reheated/refried… SCALDING BURNT Closed now. Bagging up to return for refund..... Will see how that goes… Disgusting. Going to bed nauseated and starving.. Can't get refried scorched grease taste out of my mouth
I had a pleasant experience during my recent visit. I was seated right away, and the server was fantastic. I ordered the Kung Pao Squid, which was very fresh and tasty. However, I think they could enhance the flavor a bit more.
The Xihongshi chao jidan and yuxiang qiezi were absolutely perfect. If you're in search of traditional dishes, this is the place to go! My husband also loved the house fried rice; it reminded him of his favorite from Bogotá.
