Just a passenger traveling through the train station, I came upon this restaurant a very short walk away. I ordered a vegetarian chow mein lunch special, which was very fairly portioned and came with a spring roll to boot. Best noodles I?ve had in a long time, thick and chewy with strong overtones of garlic and quite filling. The hostess was very kind and went out of her way to get me some additional soy sauce packets. The food came out promptly and hot with everything I needed for a meal to go. I am not familiar with Martinez California but I will remember this city has one awesome Chinese restaurant close to the train station! ????
Sunflower Garden is a fantastic Chinese food restaurant—definitely one of the best I've encountered in the East Bay. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, which is a refreshing change from many other places. The food is served in fresh glassware rather than outdated containers like you often find elsewhere. Plus, there's none of that uncomfortable vibe you get from restaurants with unhealthy fish tanks. Give Sunflower Garden a try; you won’t be disappointed!
Hands down the best Chinese food I have EVER had. We had the beef dinner for three and it was amazing. EVERYTHING was above average from the PERFECTLY cooked crab rangoons and the won ton soup to the beef broccoli dish, sweet and sour chicken and EVERYTHING else included in that meal was sumptuous! Service is 5 star quick and polite. I recommend this place for SURE
Sunflower Garden offers the best Chinese food I've ever had, and I've been to many different places. The meat and chicken dishes are incredibly tender and juicy, and the flavors are outstanding. While it's not a romantic spot for a first date, the portion sizes are generous, unlike many other Chinese restaurants. The taste more than compensates for it.

2nd time getting take out it did not disappoint. The potstickers are massive made from scratch. Sesame chicken is SO crunchy not heavy. Hubby loves the chowmein. A bit higher priced then some other options nearby but it?s a lot of food worthy of the higher price.
I enjoyed the sizzling soup and curry at Sunflower Garden; both dishes were excellent. The staff was friendly, and we were entertained by some large fish swimming near our table. I highly recommend checking out their menu!
They are respectful and very helpful. I really love their chow main and veggie fried rice so fulfilling for lunch and dinner the restaurant look so beautiful
I will not go back. their lunch specialties are a sweat. fried rice is not fried, but only steamed rice with soy sauce. the kung pao chicken was not.

faster, friendly service. good lunch. we were particularly pleased that even though we ordered this lunch, it came out as if it had been ordered.
Cute clean place. Tried various dishes and liked all of them. Will definitely come back to try other items.
