I am very disappointed in my most recent take-out order from here. I ordered over the phone and ask for two lunch specials. I said I had two orders. The first lunch special was a Salmon Teriyaki with a California roll (those were my exact words). The person taking the order said sushi? I said yes because a Califonia roll is sushi. I then told him my 2nd order is for a Chicken Teriyaki with a Philidelphia roll. I was then informed that a Philidelphia roll is not included in the lunch special (that was fine). After being seated, we requested hot tea, but noticed that the other two tables seated had paper plates and solo cups for their food and drinks. Around 5 minutes later, our order was taken - 4 rolls - and we kept the menu in case we wanted to order more to take home. I inquired about our hot tea, and was given a curt response.
While we were waiting, about 4 people came in to pick up their takeout orders, but none were ready within the given time frame. Our sushi finally arrived about 30 minutes later, and we still hadn't been checked on since placing our order. We still didn't have our hot tea, but were given ice water in solo cups and asked if we wanted anything else to drink.

Not worth your time or money. Dined in for lunch and was told that 2-3 item bento boxes are available for to go ONLY. Although, there were lunch specials (aka 1 item bento box $13) and was offered by the server to purchase an appetizer which will be an additional $7+. All of the food was served in TO-GO BOXES and expensive rolls served on paper plates. By the time the server gave the bill, they have written a 15% tip and the total. I asked why? The server did not make sense and said we don't have to tip 15%. Why write that in the first place. I have never been to a restaurant like this. We will never come back.
This place isn't the same restaurant I ate at a year or 2 back ago. The service isn't that good, the food is over priced when we went inside to dine in. They served everything in plastic to go trays, paper plates, plastic utensils paper cups. When we asked a supervisor why everything is so expensive low quality. She compared the restaurant to Costco . They also added a 15% tip as if they had really great service. If you want good Japanese food, with a fair price, good service actual dine in silverware. I would recommend Tokyo Grill or Spiral. Never coming back here ever again.

Three of us went to this sushi restaurant. The service was poor and the food was average. They used disposable plates instead of regular ones, which is unacceptable for a dine-in experience. They seemed to prioritize takeout customers over us, making us feel neglected. We left feeling like we were a bother to them. They also added a 15% surcharge without asking for tips. I would rather pay more for a better dining experience elsewhere. I do not plan on returning or ordering from this restaurant again. There are better options available nearby.
WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS First time going here, I ordered 4 rolls.... Bill came out to $50. I hand my cc to the server and went she returned she replied I just need your signature I looked at the receipt and noticed that the server took it upon herself to add a 15% tip. The amount of the tip isn 't what was concerning it was that she freely wrote it in herself. I asked her if that was standard for a party of 2? She gave me the run around. How many others is she taking advantage of....... This is not right. Will not be returning
went there and got served water with paper cups and sushi on paper plates, it tasted odd and the wasabi was literally discolored, the sushi looked very unpleasant. asked for the check and the lady wrote herself her own tip of 15%?! like who does that?? she didn't even serve us, very upsetting. never coming here again. lots of better sushi options in san bruno.
It's affordable for sushi and that's hard to find. Like it's not too high end but it will get the job done. If you want something more expensive go somewhere else. Kitchen food will not disappoint

The fish quality at this restaurant is mediocre. Unfortunately, I had to send a few dishes back due to their poor taste. Overall, I would not choose to dine here again.
Everything I have had here over the years has bin tip top. Service is solid.
