Big little hole in the wall breakfast place, and I mean that in the most friendly way, it's just nothing imagination- so people don't go here looking for eggs Benedict or special pancakes. It's small, so not good for big parties. I went with my son and nephew, both four, and my eight-month-old daughter. They have a high chair that was as strange as it was uncomfortable. But the service was good, food was great, and price was right. I will definitely be back, but probably without the kids unless they get a high chair.
As for the food, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was prepared to our liking, and the service was impressively quick. The menu features a solid variety of classic breakfast and lunch options that will likely please most diners.
In conclusion, I had a pleasant experience overall. With excellent food and a quiet, inviting atmosphere, I will definitely return to Sunrise Cafe.
We were really disappointed to learn that this restaurant has closed. We live in Brooklyn Park, MN, and would often make the drive to Lino Lakes just for their hash browns. They were, without a doubt, the best I've ever had in my life. I hope their closure is only a temporary situation due to COVID-19. It would be a real shame to lose such a unique little place.
The carpeting was dirty and appeared to never have been cleaned. The waitress seemed annoyed by our requests and made us feel like we were a hassle. The food was decent but overpriced, with coffee costing $2.20 a cup. I doubt I'll return; it was a rundown place five years ago, and it hasn't improved at all.

I was in the area, so I decided to try out Sunrise Cafe. The atmosphere was clean and charming. I enjoyed everything I ordered. The service was excellent, and the staff were all delightful. We're looking forward to our next visit!
