I visited this restaurant for the first time after hearing all the positive reviews, but my experience on Sunday morning was disappointing. The service was awful—despite it not being busy, our waitress took a long time to bring us refills on coffee and chocolate milk. When she finally did, the chocolate milk was just regular milk with a tiny bit of syrup that we had to stir ourselves, making it practically tasteless. I was really hoping to enjoy the experience that so many others had raved about, but it fell short for us. Unfortunately, I wished I could have spoken to the manager about my concerns, but I had to leave to pick up my spouse after their emergency surgery.

The restaurant was peaceful and well-maintained, with satisfactory service. I dined in for lunch, and my meal cost between $10 and $20. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. There was plenty of parking available, and it was free.

The Peruvian shrimp chowder here is the most delicious and freshest soup I’ve ever had, and I’m always on the lookout for great soups—this is a must-try! Also, don’t miss the Rubin; it’s marinated all day and absolutely incredible. This local spot is truly a gem!

I had a Belgian Waffle w/ a side of bacon and an OJ. The waffle and syrup were excellent! Unfortunately, the bacon was not very good at all. OJ was ok.Food: 3/5

The restaurant is now called Sunrise. It is under new ownership and offers excellent service, delicious food, and a clean environment.
