After the couple finished and left their cash, the server returned to her duties without checking on us. I called her over and asked if we could order a tasting at our table. She rolled her eyes but reluctantly agreed. However, she never came back to see if we needed anything or even to take our order. When we were done, one of my friends went up to the cash register to pay, and the server quoted her a total of $47. My friend pointed out that she had only ordered one tasting. If the server had been attentive, she would have known the correct amount due. I left a cash tip for two on the table. This is a really great new business in town and A really open and airy atmosphere. Every time that I have stopped in, which is usually to purchase wine for gifts for others, the employees are really friendly and quick to answer any questions. They purchased the building from a person who used to have an antique business there. Everything is all cathedral ceilings with post and beam. Really beautiful. They do live music in the summer and they also do food trucks, although I havent had a chance to experience that yet.

My husband and I are camping in Pittsfield. Took a ride with our 2 dogs. Tasted 10 wines.10 for 10. Hostess was very friendly. Bringing several bottles home to NJ. Highly recommend.

It's wonderful to see that SMW has expanded! The same warm atmosphere is now available in a much larger venue, making it perfect for accommodating large groups and private events.
