During our visit, my friends and I ordered one of the platters. While we waited, the friendly staff—was it the owner or the manager?—brought us some tempura to enjoy. They also checked on us throughout our meal. We did notice that prices may have gone up a bit in recent months, but the quality of the food makes it worth it, especially compared to the mall food court that I had worried it might taste like before I tried it.

This is a fantastic sushi spot hidden away in a grocery store food court! I usually order the sushi bento, which comes with 6 pieces of nigiri, 6 sushi rolls, tempura, rice, miso soup, and a salad. It's a generous portion, and I often find it hard to finish! I really appreciate the variety of delicious foods included in the bento box. My absolute favorite nigiri is the salmon because it's incredibly buttery and rich. My boyfriend and I also shared the seared salmon appetizer, which was equally delightful.
We tried a couple of dishes: the chirashi, priced around $25, featured an abundance of incredibly fresh seafood and a generous serving size. We also had the tuna and salmon don, which was similarly priced and offered the same quality, just focusing on salmon and tuna.
I highly recommend this place for sushi in the Annandale area. After your meal, you can enjoy some mochi donuts from the stall next door or visit the Tous Les Jour bakery right beside it.

Who would have thought that a modest sushi stall in a food court could serve such fresh fish? I stopped by Suny Sushi after shopping at Kmart, and I was truly impressed by the quality of the sashimi. It rivaled the fish you would find at a high-end omakase restaurant, but at a fraction of the price. It's a shame that we don't live nearby, but I will definitely return for some fresh and affordable sushi in the future!
This place is a hidden gem located at the back of the food court! They offer incredibly fresh fish and provide quick service for both dining in and takeout. Just a heads-up—this spot is part of the food court and not a standalone restaurant. I tried two salmon avocado rolls and was really impressed. The prices for the rolls vary, but they average around $7.50 each.
The food was delicious, and the customer service was outstanding! Every employee was incredibly helpful and efficient. I only ordered two items today, and they were absolutely fantastic. All the options are consistently fresh and tasty, and these were no exception! Be sure to stop by and try some of the offerings!
As someone who is not typically very particular about food, I could barely manage to eat a few bites. I do not recommend this place.
