Surya Indian is the most authentic Indian Food joint. If someone is looking for Indian food that taste like literally food in India and all healthy ingredient (smell of fresh spices) and a generous portion then I would highly recommend. I bought Mutton Hyderabadi Biryani and Karahi Goat with Mango Lassi! I have tried other places in Cambridge, Somerville, Boston University area but no one has that quality in affordable price. Karahi Goat is delicious freshly made and tender pieces of goat. I had Goat Curry which great as well particularly if someone like mild sauce. I also had naan, garlic naan all is excellent! As a Kolkata/India native, highly recommending.
I don’t write reviews but this was so bad I had to make an exception. It takes someone really special to make food that’s this easy to make and make it bad. We ordered delivery and it was the worst food we’ve had in our life in any city and country we’ve been to. Anyone making food this devoid of all joy and flavour should feel bad and reevaluate their priorities. In a world where food should not be wasted this had to be discarded promptly and one wouldn’t feel bad because it was inedible. Gobi Manchurian was good and my favorite. I like that there are lots of varieties particularly the south Indian and vegetarian menu which makes it more attractive. Rava dosa was good, I was expecting it to be crispy, I wish they had a better chutney quantity as it seemed to be very small. Overall I would definitely recommend people to try south Indian food options here and vegetarians. Amazing food, amazing service! Great place for take out. I didn't have any idea what I wanted when I walked in and the man behind the counter asked if I would like any suggestions. Best Indian food in Greater Boston area. So glad I found Suriya, as I work in area. Grab pickup here minimum 3 times a week! Love vegetable samosas and pakoras. Nice kick to them! Have tried a different chicken entree each time I go and love them all! Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend!
No dine in as advertised. I ordered a Chicken Veggie combo, with Chicken Tikka Masala, but got a veggie cauliflower entree instead. Service was horrible too. Might be good if you're local, but they wouldn't even include utensils and napkins, which is d when you're staying in a hotel.Food: 3/5
I go to this place weekly, and Raj is always friendly and serving up amazing food. You really can’t go wrong on the menu, it’s all very good. Portions are good and well priced. The picture is Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Naan, and a Mango lassi
Awesome neighborhood spot that rivals some of the best Indian food in the city! Run by two of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. No matter how busy they are, they always greet you with a warm smile and excellent food couldn’t reccomend more!
