The best kept secret around Pasadena. The sushi is always so fresh and the omakase is so worth it. Call to make a reservation. It is a very small place, so the reservation will guarantee sitting and no wait time. They do not do to go orders, it's stated in their door as you enter. They guide you on which sushi's to eat with soy sauce or not, which I personally love since I really enjoy tasting the sushi as it is intended to be enjoyed. They are very kind and sweet. The ambiance is very zen like and a perfect place for a date or solo eating. Parking is available in the little plaza it is at.
The reviews were not lying! This place is incredible! We ordered the chefs choice sushi dinner and were blown away. Amazingly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent as well. Can’t wait to come back.

Karen is a real Karen! Unfortunately, they seem not to care about providing a nice service. On the phone inquiring about a takeout, the rude response was just no and the guy hung up. Will not try as dine in either.

This is the famously great LA strip mall sushi that you hear about. It reminds me of places that locals in Japan took me to. Budget $50 per person. Considering the quality, the prices are reasonable.
Fix your hours on grubhub. It would've been nice to know you couldn't fulfill my pickup order prior to my driving over there. Literally canceled my order as I was parking.
Outstanding, no frills sushi spot. The quality of fish was truly write home worthy. Try the spicy scallop and the crispy tuna!!! Thank you for an amazing meal, Karen!
What a great sushi spot for some quality fish! The restaurant itself could use a little bit of loving, but I loved all the sushi that I was served.
