In parksville for a girls getaway and we wanted sushi we had heard good things about Sushi Ichi and thought we should go there. Don't judge a book by its cover, when you first walk in the restaurant could use some love but it is very clean. The server was very friendly, nice and accommodating. This was a Friday night and we did not have a rest. It got busy quick glad we got there when we did or we night have not got in. We order the Mahi Mahi Tempura (daily special) Agedashi tofu to start. This delightful classic sushi restaurant in the heart of Parksville had the freshest sushi, sashimi and Maki rolls. The Toro was so fresh and we shared the D-rich, Kamikaze and Summer Rolls all perfectly packed and rolled with fresh fish, avocado and Tobiko.

The decor hasn't changed in over ten years so feels a bit dated service was fine but the food quality felt like it was lacking just seemed basic and mid lvl nothing wrong w it but it was over all just ok so I won't be coming
