Sushi Kuni - Réserver une table

I understand that fish is expensive. But $13.00 for this is ridiculous (one piece is missing because I ate it, I was hungry, lol). There is only one sushi place in Chemainus, therefore I have tried this place three times and I never will again. The first time my very small portion of sashimi was frozen. The second time we paid for 2 miso soups in our take out order that we did not receive. Now this time, I paid $22.00 for a miso soup (plus tip, the server was very nice, not her fault the portions are small), four pieces of prawn tempura and this sorry excuse for a $13.00 order of sashimi. Make the drive to Duncan or Ladysmith if you want good value for your money and want sushi.

This restaurant is a small place in the town of Chemainus. The decor is not fancy but the staff are incredibly friendly. They are always welcoming. They often offer a complimentary dish such as miso soup or dumpling which are made on site. The price for lunch for two was $20.00 and more than two people can eat. We will drive 40 km to enjoy their tempura.

Everything is made in-house. Fresh sushi is great sushi and they did not disappoint. Had some pretty basic fare which was great but lacked presentation. The atmosphere was fairley stagnant so I put this in a lunch category. Staff was very friendly and I will return.

using the menu Take-out, my wife and I appreciate our california roll bento boxes. we called in our order and it was ready until the expected pickup. everything tasted as expected. the service was friendly and fast. safe a place to have sushi...in chemainus

Prawn tempura was great so was the gyoza. Service was as expected and the place was clean. I usually get take out so the ambiance doesn't matter to me. Nice take out. Less than $15 feeds me dinner. I will keep going back.

Had a quick dinner here. Food was good, service was friendly. not being familiar with sushi/Korean food the waiter gave us a free taster of some stuff. It was much appreciated.

super fresh and delicious. the owners are wonderful people who are striving so that they return. we order sushi and sashimi as well as hot food are all great.

I often order the takeover here. they are always there to greet me with a friendly smile and hello. her sushi is no longer. try the crazy California roles.

I have been in a few times and have enjoyed the bento box everytime. I had the chicken the first time and the the beef the next time.
