One of the few places that truly deserves a 5 star. One of the more closer to Japanese style sushi bar I've seen here in the states. Great chefs that have a balance of speed and presentation. You can tell by the flavor and texture there's nothing butfresh ingredients. Staff was way more friendly, and the building much cleaner and better laid out than the other sushi place intown. If your picking between sushi places in Tahoe, this is the one you want ????
Sat at the sushi bar. The staff was very friendly and I highly recommend ALL YOU CAN EAT(Lunch or Dinner) option. Christian was our Sushi Chef. ???? Great food and service. I highly recommend allowing the Chef to be creative with your rolls. A side ofdevils spit was ????. Caution: I enjoy spicy rolls Place was clean and busy when we arrived. Be patient with staff (they arehiring) and might not sit you right away. It's definitely worth the wait. Enjoy!
Used to LOVE this place but not anymore. Ordered two rolls mussels via Door Dash. I was unable to leave my hotel so this was my only option. Opened it to both the rolls burned. I was so disappointed and angry I spent so much on this to be let down. Igave 2 stars instead of of 1 star because the mussels were good.
I really enjoy the Joey Ramone, Buckley, and San Francisco Rolls from this place. They always prepare them with great attention to detail and are generous with the fillings! Sushi Pier is my go-to whenever I’m in the mood for sushi, and it’s the first restaurant I check on DoorDash! Réservez une table maintenant
This is certainly not authentic Japanese ramen, despite being a Japanese restaurant. The noodles were overcooked, the broth was too thick (thickened with cornstarch), and the meat tasted like Chinese char siu barbecue. They really need to improve this. I'm very disappointed!
I would have given 5 star if the rice was good. The fish was great, it would melt in your mouth but the rice, the rice was really bad. It was old or something because it was dry and plastic like. Our server was very friendly and sweet.
All you can eat sushi, lunch and dinner. Excellent choice for sushi lovers. I would recommend sitting right at the sushi bar because the chefs will make it faster for you as you sit there and enjoy...no sashimi though.
Seared tuna was over cooked and dried out. The Godzilla roll was foul and fishy (in a bad way). The midtown roll was good though. 2/3 items were quite bad. Réservez une table maintenant
Ordered 3 rolls and only received 1 and it wasnt one that I ordered . The ramen also had a foul spoiled smell and everything was cold.
