Sushi Roku Pasadena

Food was good overall but our waiter kept coming by to check in on us too often. We felt rushed for no apparent reason as we did not dine during peak hours (3pm). My guest and I just wanted to enjoy a relaxing day and catch up and we clearly could not do that do excessive interruptions. Also, when the waiter took our order, she took my guest order and didn’t even bother to ask me what I wanted to eat. I had to stop her from leaving to place my order. This is at least my second time here and I have never had this happen to me at this restaurant. Maybe it was just an off day for the staff?

The restaurant was out of eggplant so they could not make one of their most popular appetizer . Literally the only reason I chose that place. I canceled reservations at another restaurant. I don’t know how you run out of eggplant. Clearly someone dropped the ball and did not order the egg plant. Again literally the only reason I went there.

Restaurant couldn’t find our reservation when we got there. The waiter only came by the table 3 times in 1 hour and didn’t take our order any of the times. The waiter also ordered the wrong food and told us it was our fault that the wrong food came out. There are a lot of sushi spots in Pasadena, and I will not be coming back to Sushi Roku

Gnats! Food and service are always great but they cannot seem to get the flying bugs issue under control due to the inside water features. It’s been months since our last visit and the gnats are still everywhere. It’s unfortunate because the food and service are amazing but the gnat/bug problem will keep us from coming back. As always, the food, drinks and service were all great. Especially when the temperatures are high and we don't want to cook, Sushi Roku is on our short list of places to eat. The staff is always friendly, courteous and professional. Our variety of selections never disappoints.

Really nice experience, it’s a very nice place. The fish is clean but the roll selection was basic, the sashimi was pretty good. Sushi a bit underwhelming. Great service though

Food and service was good, not exceptional. It is very expensive for what it was. Portions are tiny also

Good service and the food is great. Nice area where restaurants located, you can walk around outside.
