We arrived 4:50pm. Service was fast for initial portions of meal (ordered by i-pad). However placed final order (5 items) at 5:29, but by 5:50 none of the items had arrived. We beckoned a waitress who told us politely that she would follow up. A few minutes later, 1 of the 5 items arrived, but when 6:00 rolled around nothing had still transpired with respect to the remaining 4 items. We discussed with our waitress who made notes (again) and she said (again) that she would look into it. At 6:10 there still had been nothing delivered so asked for the Manager. The food was passable for a sushi restaurant but nothing to write home about, and DEFINITELY not worth the hassle of dealing with service that leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I've been here a couple times because I thought the first time was just an "off night" for them so wanted to give them a second try. Both times I've left feeling as if I've done something wrong as the servers are rude, dismissive, and act annoyed if you ask them a question. In fact, if you ask for something, there is nothing acknowledged verbally on their end but you know they heard you because something gets slammed down on your table about 3-5mins later. Nice clean establishment. Food is ok. Avocado could be a little less brown and mushy. Sauces are plain but again I totally understand they have to do it for the masses! Wasabi needs some kick! This is a must it was like licking mash potatoes and wasabi! In all the food it was ok! Until the latter part of my meal, when they stopped serving my food that I order and three items were missing! The girls kept coming around looking at table to see if I was going to ask for cheque! Finally I did ask for cheque and that items I highlighted were missing. It's been about a year since we last went to Sushi Today. The last time I didn't like the fact that you could place an order on the iPad, but the server had to send it to the kitchen. This time that wasn't necessary and we could place our orders and send them. We could also see what was ordered and at what time.The food was as good on a busy Sunday afternoon. We had the usual maki and hand rolls and tried some of the other cooked options. The salmon and dynamite hand rolls were good. Been going here for years. This place use to be called "Go Believe". When it change to new ownership, wasn't very satisfied with some menu changes and the quality. Things have really improved over time and you get your moneys worth. Other places in the area, but this place id still better. Quality of food and quality of service have helped. Plan on wearing elastic waist pants, you'll eat more then expected! Fresh, clean and great for large groups.
Went for lunch early and were seated right away .We were then introduced to the IPad ordering system. A little daunting for a couple of older folk, but we managed. The food was served fairly quickly and was very fresh. By the time we were ready to leave the place was absolutely full up. Quite a bit more expensive than the other sushi places around and not really worth the extra gimmicky ordering system. Pity.
We recently visited this place with our friends.Really enjoyed the selection of food they had to offer & the place itself is nice & clean. The price was fair for what the place had to offer. The service was good & because it is located on the plaza, there was no issue with parking.We did enjoy our time there & for sure it would be be recommended to others.
We have been here a few times. Overall the service is very fast here and the food is generally quite good. Some of the Sushi is not top notch admittedly.
