Wow, what a $40 disappointment for dinner. Driving through the area and had a craving for sushi. Min Ghung was over 45 minutes away, and Kama Sushi's wait was over 45 minutes. Found this place through Yelp. Decided to try them. First, no one greeted me for over a couple of minutes upon my entrance. A few employees made quick eye contact, then just ignored me. A small group of two was already waiting by the entrance and they asked if they could be seated by the bar, where there were 4 empty chairs. I've been going to Sushi X for years time for me to finally write a review. 4 Stars All Day. We were a party of 4 tonight and they seated us right away, were very friendly and accommodating. The food is great mainly because they have so many choices of appetizers, soups, salads and a bunch of hot kitchen items along with the sushi and sashimi. And it is all included in the price. Of course the sushi and sashimi are the stars of the show but the rest is great too. Some of the stand out options for me are tuna tarter, kani salad, and rock shrimp. Quite a bit of food goes to waste when customers come in overly hungry and over-order, so it makes sense for them to offer smaller servings. Some friends and I visited Sushi X for all-you-can-eat sushi, which is $25 on the weekends $22 on weekdays). Our waitress was really cold, abrupt, and hard to understand. Bummer. Maybe her shift changed, or maybe the rest of the staff noticed our reactions with our first encounters with her, because she didn't serve our table after the first round, but it definitely left an impression. Overall, we liked the sushi we tried. There are about 16 special rolls to try, and we liked the Crazy Girl and Fire Cracker. I found the katsu a bit dry, and the sashimi pieces were pretty small. There are no better words in the English language than All You Can Eat Sushi Upside: Do I even have to mention it? All you can eat sushi. And a nice variety of it for $20 $25 a person. I went with friends and was upset that I hadn 't heard about the place before. I love the fact that they are huge sticklers of waste. They will not bring you more sushi until you have cleaned your plates and if you have to pay to take leftovers home. There 's something about it that I respect. Downside: It 's not the greatest when it comes to service but in an environment where it 's AYCE, you really can 't expect 5 Star service. My friends and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We were seated promptly, and the all-you-can-eat menu was easy to navigate. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything we were trying, especially since it was our first visit. The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were just right; we never felt pressured to clean our plates like at some other establishments. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. Service is mediocre...at best. I was not impressed with the quality of the rolls or the sushi. Because I left a few pieces on the plate, they charged me $8 as leftovers. Disgusting. Charging twice for something i paid for? I will never return, what poor customer service. When I expressed that I didnt like the roll I was told the ingredients are on the menu so, too bad . Gross

I don't recommend this place to anyone. They force us to finish a couple of sashimi left over. Otherwise they would charge us. Worst service I have ever been and very rude.
