The lunch combo costs around $15. My go-to order includes sashimi of yellowtail, tuna, octopus, salmon, fried egg, white fish, and crab stick, accompanied by rice. It also comes with a salad, soup, and a scoop of ice cream at the end (you can check out their full menu online). I find their prices to be reasonable compared to many other sushi places that tend to be quite expensive. There aren't many places that serve good fresh yellowtail, either. The quality of the fish is quite good. I compare it to my experiences with sushi in Japan. While it doesn't quite match the best options available in Japan, like Otoro (fatty tuna), Yasu's fish offers a respectable taste reminiscent of Japan. KT

This restaurant, along with its sister location in Rome, is one of my favorite sushi spots. I'm a bit disappointed that one offers okonomiyaki while the other has beef tongue, so I can never enjoy both dishes in the same place. Today, I tried all the new items on the menu. They weren’t bad, but I still prefer many of the previous favorites. However, the hamachi kama was really, really good. The three of us indulged and our total bill was only $50, including tax and tips. Keep in mind, one of us is just a toddler, but that little one managed to eat quite a bit! By the way, when dining in, edamame is complimentary!

I am a frequent customer of this restaurant. Very good sushi in my opinion. However I should mention that I am a maki fan, and not a sashimi fan. I really like the quality there, especially for the maki. I am not a big sashimi eater so can't really comment on it. Very small restaurant, so do make the reservation in advance. They also do a lot of take outs, because of this, you may want to prepare yourself to wait, especially on Friday Saturday. It happens to me twice that I need to wait up to an hour before the first dish is served. But is well worth it. I really like the food quality there.

For appetizers, the skate fish is simply divine; it lacks the typical ocean smell often associated with seafood. It’s deep-fried and served with a delicious ponzu sauce. If you're looking to sample a variety of dishes, I recommend their bento options. The katsu chicken is always fresh and flavorful! If you enjoy tender, crispy fried chicken, you won’t want to miss the curry chicken katsu or the katsu-don. The prices are incredible considering the quality of the food. If you're in the mood for authentic Japanese cuisine, Yasu Laprairie will not disappoint!

Très bon mais malheureusement trop cher par rapport à la concurrence. De plus, la poutine est de faible qualité, et c'est le seul élément du menu que j'ai goûté qui ne reflète pas le niveau de qualité de la chaîne. C'est dommage. This restaurant is owned and operated by a genuine Japanese chef. The cuisine is authentically traditional and delicious. Their lunch menu offers fantastic value, as the same dishes served in the evening are priced at twice the cost. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend visiting during weekday lunch hours!

The food and service are excellent. I highly recommend the sushi bar—the sashimi, sushi, and maki options are all very fresh. The kitchen dishes are also quite good, especially the beef and chicken skewers, fried skate fish, and crispy silky tofu, which is made with a light batter.

This is the best Sushi I have ever tasted. The fish and sea food are fresh, the service is quite quick. I wouldn't recommend the other items on the menu. But the Sushi is to die for!
