This is my first time visit Suwan Thai, I’m indeed impressed to find this high quality Thai in Tassie. Im a huge fan of pad Thai, had it all the time when I was in Bangkok. The pad Thai of suwan Thai is the first one I have had on this island so far really close to what I had in Thailand. We love the Tom Yam soup too, we cannot stop from drinking that, their chefs are definitely good at seasoning and know well about Thai cuisine. Though the mango sticky rice is quite expensive, $15, the portion is satisfactory. Direction from google map is a bit misleading. Search 'Galleria Salamanca ' and enter from there up to the corner and go to second floor. Parking payable around Salamnca market. Place: plenty of table, clean toilet. Not so much on the Hobart view. Service was attentive and quick. Food: we ordered, pad thai, fried rice, chicken salad, and green curry. All comes with authentic Thai taste. Portion is good for the price. Definitely will come again if i visit Hobart.
a selection of dresses that were beautifully presented but were hardly suitable for taste rather blande, especially compared to other Thai restaurants where we have gedimt in recent years. atmosphere and ambiente was pleasant, but the heaters used were much too hot and they approached them sweating. will look for another restaurant when we feel like thai.
We had dinner at Suwan tonight and it was amazing!! Everything we ordered from the mixed entree to the curry and coconut rice was delicious! I especially loved the Tom Yum soup! One of the best I’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good Thai in Hobart!

the hotel is located in an lv 2 building of salamanca. very pleasant experience with petty jummy Thai eating! the staff was so friendly. the tom yum suppe had a wonderful taste. soft crab, green curry, chicken wing, pineapple seafood fried rice are absolutely recommended!
if everything they taste is sweet, it is disappointing. the amount of the duck in the curry was minimal, although the Papaya salad was profuse. why is cocos rice sweet? service was good and the ambiente was also good
Nice food and friendly staff, my Thai friend took me to hate to try Thai food, and it was over the moon. We try red carry chicken, pahad Thai. It was 10/10. And my friend said the taste is similar in Thailand.
Delicious Thai food in Salamanca market. Their Pad Thai and crispy fish basil n chilli fried rice is very tasty. Must try if you are in Hobart looking for a good Thai food.

Meals were delicious. Casual atmosphere with friendly staff. BYO from Drink Co bottle shop and bar on ground level before you head up to restaurant on first floor.
Absolutely delicious food. Customer service also good. We really enjoyed the lunch.
