We decided to try Suwan Thai Restaurant after reading some positive reviews. As we're seniors, we thought we'd try it on a Wednesday night as its discount for old farts. WOW, we were very pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with a warm smile when...given the menu. There's lots to choose from and the pricing is very reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is spotless and very quaint. Just wished wed tried it earlier. It's nice to know there is a little gem of a restaurant in our area. We will definitely be back. Number one son fancied dinner and loves his Asian food. We hadn't visited this place for many years. It has been rebranded since and were greeted by very friendly wait staff without a reservation. The owner also came over to greet us and was teaching...the waitress how to take the orders and was very patient with her. Our meals came out quickly and were absolutely delicious!! So much flavour in every dish. Love that it is a local place. Reasonably priced. Not huge serves so if you eat a lot, just order a little more. We will be back.
It's a shame a lot more people don't visit this lovely family run Thai restaurant where the food is cooked with Love and is authentic and very tasty I'm not sure if the previous owners have given this business a bad name but we have...been going for a couple of years now and can only say good things the food is amazing the service is very friendly and the price is very good more people need to frequent this lovely restaurant run by Ken and his wife... My husband and I are regulars and will continue to be.
We visited this restaurant on a Wed night after deciding to go out for a meal at the last minute. Since we last visited this place it has changed ownership and although there were not many people in the restaurant.....it turned out to be a...very nice meal. It was pretty quiet...maybe because it was midweek and a very cold night! The food was very tasty and fresh and the portions were generous. I would definitely go back to Suwan Thai. We celebrated Emily’s birthday here last night. We had a group of which they accommodated well. We all ordered different mains and shared. Every dish was delicious and everyone was impressed. We only had an entree (again shared) and a mains and all left...feeling full. Very well priced too.
