I consider myself an expert of suburban local Japanese sushi joints. You know; the 'Sushi Sushi ' type, middle of the shopping complex, that offer a large selection of takeaway sushi and not much in the way of good pricing and service. Silver Sushi is a bit of a stand out for south of the river in perth. It offers freshly made sushi, bento, tempura, hot noodles and soups. I think this is one of the best local sit down japanese sushi specialty restaurants in the Willetton, Bull Creek, Riverton, Booragoon and Melville area. It 's constantly busy, which is always a good sign and the pricing is great. Offers a reward system too, which is more than I can say for the local shopping centre walk by...
We hadn't dined in at Silver Sushi for several months and decided to have dinner there recently. We ordered a Teppanyaki Chicken , a Teppanyaki Salmon and a Prawn Tempura Udon. The teppanyaki dishes came out a bit over cook as the meat were tough. Flavours are similar however they were bulked up with a lot of onion. It felt like Chinese style cooking. The prawn tempura udon dish still tasted good with the exception that Udon size had reduced significantly and came with 3 prawns only. Service was excellent as usual. The restaurant was pack as usual. The staff were great. Just disappointed with the food quality. I believe they may have lost their previous chef.
We Sunday lunch here after our C Vaccinationboooster. The queue was long but the wait was worth it. We had the rolls with soft shell crab and fried large prawns. The beef curry was sweetish and hearty. The salmon poke bowl with truffle was very tasty with lemoney zing. We had the mixed sushi platter which was refreshing. The nanban chicken had a rich eggy mayonnaise that sealed the hunger pangs. The steakdon had a charbroil Aussie outback flavour in a bowl. Service was fast and servings were large. Everyone came in famished but left the restaurant stuffed to the gills.
We decided to give this place a try for Sunday lunch. We arrived and the place was pumping. As we didn't have a booking, the waitress took our name and number and said we would have a 15 min wait. She called us exactly 15mins later to say our table was ready. We ordered the chicken katsu bento, assorted sashimi bento and the nixed tempura bento. OMG it was so delicious and good sized serves! Very impressed with both the service and the quality of the food. Will come back again. Réservez une table maintenant
My wife and I visited one Saturday night about 7.30pm without having made a booking. The waitress took our name and asked us to return in 30 minutes, which we did. We were shown our table within the 30 minutes we were told. The setting is very basic. We both chose a main course which was very tasty and very good value. All the staff were friendly making it a pleasant impromptu evening out
The staffs never put our name on the list for a table and told us to wait for 40mins. After 40mins we were told that our name isn’t on the list and we should wait another 40mins and continued to say that “I have never seen you before” even though we’ve been waiting for 40mins outside and never care to ask us what we are doing outside.
I was recommend this place, so we went to Silver Sushi with friends and it was EXCELLENT !!! The food, presentation and quality was FIVE STAR Generous serves, reasonably priced and friendly service made our night. We all commented on how delicious the food was. You must go Silver Sushi, for the Silver service.
it was crowded and we did not call prior. nonetheless, was seated within 10mins. both the crunch roll and curry katsu rice were delicious and generous quantity. authentic Japanese food at reasonable prices in heart of Willetton. good service. Réservez une table maintenant
