Tonight, I ordered the salmon, jollof rice, and spinach. Unfortunately, the spinach was too soft, the rice was too hard, and the salmon lacked seasoning. This was my first time ordering from here, and I had the same meal, which was good then. While the salmon was cooked to my liking, I expected more flavor, especially for African cuisine. In the end, it was a $60 meal, and I was left disappointed.
This might seem unusual, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed everything. Every dish my group sampled was outstanding. The food was not only delicious, but it was presented beautifully too. I’m definitely looking forward to returning for more!
Swahili Village was recommended to me by a friend, and I was absolutely delighted by my experience. The service was excellent, the food was incredible, and the music and decor created a wonderful atmosphere!
This was my 2nd time dining at Swahili Village. I enjoyed the food, but if you’re trying to get to an event in the area be sure to make your reservations with plenty of extra time. The service is very slow. Réservez une table maintenant
