I long to live in a pretty village like Marbury one day, and have a pub to dine in like this one. Admittedly, I 'd have to earn a lot more money to dine here regularly...maybe if I can find a village where this is the special treat pub, and then there 's the midweek drinking pub at the other end where we can go regularly that would be fab! Joking aside, we were staying in Marbury for a little break away to Cheshire and this pub was a stone 's throw away so we booked it for the first night of our stay and we 're so glad we did. This is NOT a cheap pub, but for those guests mentioning it is too expensive, that is a to keep out the riff raff like you and b because they have food that is better...
This pub is amazing, made the 30 minute journey from Chester and it was so so so worth it!!! We went on a Sunday after recommendations from friends and took our kids and we were made to feel very welcomed when greeted at the bar, the bar staff made us laugh by offering our little girl, the most amazing non alcoholic cocktail and having it made in-front of her made her most excited, it showed us the pub isnt just for adults and welcomes everyone. The Staff were all so lovely and accommodating in carrying over our drinks and seating us at our table, although a busy Sunday, the wait for food was not long and we had the most delicious roast beef which was to die for and they did kid’s portions t...
Fancied a nice pub lunch, so looked up best restaurants in Nantwich and this came up it’s quite a drive from Nantwich but well worth it. Really good menu and selection of Gins and Beers. I had the Chicken Schnitzel and when it arrived, I thought they’d got the orders mixed up the chicken schnitzel was sliced up and served on a bed of salad. Effectively, it was a huge Chicken Caesar Salad probably the best Chicken Caesar Salad I’ve ever had! Really really good and will definitely be going back to The Swan for more lunches…
This traditional pub is charming and spacious, offering an excellent Sunday roast. Although the food is a bit pricey, the portions are generous. They have a great selection of real ales. The staff provides a friendly welcome and quick service even during busy times. The only drawback is that they don't serve custard with desserts, which makes the sticky toffee pudding less satisfying.

We visited The Swan at Marbury to celebrate a family birthday. We were given our own semi-private area with a lovely big table and we had the most delicious food! Everyone was happy with their meal; the portion sizes were generous and the roast dinners were perfect. The service was also excellent; nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. We will definitely return soon!
Marbury is a pretty village with a delightful pub the Swan. It is hard to fault this pub. Plenty of car parking, a lovely building, a warm welcome and efficient unobtrusive service. The bar is very well stocked and the menu is straightforward and comprehensive. The food is delicious. This is our first visit and it certainly won't be last.
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Our drinks were brought to our table promptly and we didn't have to wait long to be served. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.
We had a wonderful family dinner at this restaurant. All of our meals were delicious and perfectly cooked. The plates were hot, the food was hot and fresh, and the service was excellent.
