This is a fantastic pub! Around 40 of us gathered at the Swan on The Green the night before our wedding for drinks. The manager and the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had an amazing time enjoying local pints on the green. Thank you for your excellent customer service!

We had an excellent experience, as always! The food was beautifully presented, and on a cold, wet, and windy day, the open fire offered a wonderfully warm welcome. Even our dogs seemed reluctant to leave! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you!

This is a truly charming village pub. If you're passing by or out for a hike, make sure to stop in. I was actually working yesterday, and the landlord graciously allowed me to come in on his day off. That really reflects how he values his customers.

Excellent experience as always. We had nice food plates. On a terrible cold, wet and windy day the open fire was a warm welcome and we (including the dogs) did not want to go! Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you. Réservez une table maintenant

Any pub with the words “on the Green” in its name is going to be good. The Swan is no exception; across the board, service, comfort, food quality, it is absolutely brilliant. A pub food goer’s dream.

We had a delightful meal on a beautiful sunny day, complete with a cricket match happening on the green nearby. It felt like a charming return to village life, and everything was just perfect!

Lovely fish and chips at a super pub on the village green. Cricket about to start, beer from own microbrewery, wine delicious. Atmosphere just so English!
