Our daughter received a gift voucher as a prize, after contacting a member of staff we were told the voucher could be used in either the nursery or the restaurant which are both advertised as Annetts, our 12 year old daughter thought it would be nice to treat her mum and dad to afternoon tea. We ordered two coffees one of which was not hot, portion of chips of which a number were not cooked in the centre and a cheesecake which was very dry and heavy. The experience was far from pleasant....... On leaving, we presented the gift voucher to pay, only to be told that The Sweet Pea Cafe was not owned by Annetts and they did not accept their vouchers...the food was very over-rated and expensive, a...
Lovely little spot with so much wholesome home made food. We had an open prawn sandwich a Cajun chicken salad. Both were very tasty a good portion size. Our pot of tea for two was topped up a couple of times, which meant we just had to sample some wee butterfly cream buns too. So light tasty. Well worth another visit.
I recently discovered a fantastic restaurant located between Warrenpoint and Rostrevor. The home-cooked meals and baked desserts were absolutely delicious. The soups were hearty, the pea risotto was one of my favorites, and the fish dishes of the day were superb. This place is a must-visit!
What a wee gem,took my mother and aunt out yesterday for a run in the car and sweet pea was recommended to us.The atmosphere and decor was lovely and the food, sweet treats and coffee was delicious. The staff were really helpful.

The restaurant serves delicious homemade food in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The service is polite and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend trying the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.
The Sweet Pea is a delightful destination with a limited menu that offers colorful and flavorful dishes. In May 2022, the average cost for a meal for two, including 1 Greek salad, 1 quiche, and tea for both, was £25.
