"This was my second time going here. My son was visiting and I told him about their delicious strawberry and custard filled croissants and he wanted to and try their taiyaki. He ordered the custard filled taiyaki with ice cream, my daughter had the cheese filled taiyaki and I had the mango sago. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this place. Truly a little gem worth going to."

This a two of one review! I've visited Sweet Society twice and it's a cute little shop to drop in on a hot day. They have Japanese desserts and soft serve ice cream. This shop is cute, not very big. They have a cute little nook you can sit in and watch music videos. The staff is quick to take your order, the menu only has 4 flavors. They feature two dairy free flavors too, which I love for us lactose intolerant! I ordered pomegranate/watermelon dairy free soft serve with a taiyaki a fish shaped waffle cone. You can choose your filling for the taiyaki, I chose the Nutella. The first time i had it, the waffle was warm and Nutella melted in my bite! So good and yummy. I will say it took a little while, over 15 minutes, to get be ready. The second time I visited I ordered the same thing. We were the only patrons at the time and the order took just as long again. This time the waffle was cold and hard. I really disappointed because I told my husband how good it was the first time. I think this place is great, but they need work on the turnaround time for the taiyaki and preparing the orders. It takes too long just for a soft serve that's already prepared.

My friend brought me here for my birthday after eating next door at the ramen shop, which is connected to this shop by the way. You can get a discount if you show them your ramen receipt. My friend got ume ice cream while I opted for red bean filled taiyaki. My taiyaki was freshly made in front of me. I wasn’t crazy about the red bean so I’ll stick with cream or Nutella filling next time. I tried a bite of the ume ice cream and it was delicious, very creamy without being too rich. If you’re a kpop lover like me, you’ll enjoy the kpop music videos they have playing. The seating is minimal so big groups may have to eat elsewhere. Get it to go and walk around the area because there are several stores located in the complex.

It wasn't bad but I would have appreciated more variety. They only had fruit flavors and I wanted something like oreo. They had oreo as a topping but not much at all. They would put oreo dust not chunks of cookie like expected. Really its pretty expensive for ice cream but I really nice date locatiom especially if you like Anime. They have multiple Tv's playing anime intros and outro songs with videos.as for the Fish pastry its VERY GOOD and warm. I got it with nutella. I was dissapointed because i thought it would be filled with nutella but it was just a thin layer on the inside. Overall good just had a lot of expectations?‍However they did say flavors change weekly.

This place is a nice to just hang out and catch up with friends over a drink or ice cream/ dole whip. It was pretty busy and it's not that big but we were able to get a seat. My drink was just okay maybe I didn't order the right one but it was hot outside so it served the purpose. I didn't get a picture of the pomegranate I believe it was dole whip it was good very light and flavorful. I'll go back to try something different.
