About once a year we head to Great Barrington area to visit our Great Aunt Isabel and Cousin Francis, they always bring us to the Swiss Hutte. Swiss Hutte is a great place to stay in the Hillsdale area. Cindy, the owner was exceptionally kind for our stay. She made sure that our stay was the greatest possible. Gert also made a great breakfast as well as a super dinner. The rooms were warm and beds were comfier than normal inns. Breakfast was a great way to start a good day off while dinner is just a complete 5 star restaurant. With views of Catamount the location is also a crazy scenic spot at the bottom of the mountain. Fantastic experience! I highly recommend this place. I stayed here for a couple of days during Thanksgiving last year in a pet-friendly room, and everything was wonderful! The room was spotless, and the staff were very welcoming. Although I didn’t get a chance to dine at the restaurant, I definitely plan to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the restaurant and the zip line next door.
This place is an institution of the Berkshires. They make beautifully prepared Swiss food. Favorite items for me include chicken curry, veal sausage, weinerschinel, and their house salad is amazing. They do have vegetarian options which are great too. Desserts are a must. There is also a B&B attached to the business which is charming. I highly recommend this place.

Such a beautiful place! The food is absolutely incredible, worth every penny (it can get pricey)! The desserts are equally as delicious as the entrees. This is my personal favorite restaurant. The staff is super sweet and very good at their job. There is a great ambiance here as well, it's a must try place at least once in your life!
The food is very very good, The waitresses can resight the specials without looking at of list, It is super clean just a great place to go. Not to mention a good bartender.
This is a nice spot, whether a group or romantic lunch or dinner, wonderful food, very quiet atmosphere, geared towards adults
