This is an updated review from five years ago. This place did not get a face lift over the pandemic. The interior looks really worn down, referring to the chair seat covers that are torn. Menu definitely changed. There is a breakfast and lunch menu. Our server, Alina, didn't seem pleasant, maybe a rough day. Contrary to the great comments of another reviewer. She was definitely not happy and should not have tipped her as much as I did (distracted with the company I was with). No smile, placed the water right on the menu. The menu is large and can meet the need of any large party. It covers food for breakfast foods, lunch and dinner. The washrooms are clean and fairly large. The service is friendly but a little under attentive. We were seated quickly for a Saturday afternoon but it took 2 tries to get served water and we asked for the bill together but it came split. The food itself is very good. Both myself and my companion got a benedict with 3 eggs. They were slightly over cooked as they were wet in the middle but not runny as a poached egg should be. The potatoes were well seasoned and good. The mocha I ordered was delicious and hot to taste.
Quick decision to eat here before going to watch the National Bank Open. 4 of us in our party. When we arrived at 10:45am on a Friday there seemed to be only one person working with numerous tables. We were a little concerned but she was handling it well. As we seated, 2 more staff members arrived and all was great.Food was delicious and the service was good. That first worker really held it together.I had the Benedict with homefries and salad, so good. Most of the party had breakfast selections.Ample parking, free.Prices were reasonable.Check it out for sure.
I was there this evening, and while our server was nice the food was below average. We had a hair embedded in our spinach dip… The food was also very cold. As well as our chicken was cold and tasted like frozen boxed chicken. Unfortunately our group of 6 people was very disappointed. The service was also extremely slow. I was looking for a place that serves avocado toast as, the place I frequently went to had shut down. Finally went here for the first time and I must say, the food was pretty good. I also ordered a tiramisu cake which was recommended by the person who served me and the cake was nice as well. It might be my frequent place for the avocado toast now.
Horrible service! I don’t know if the server was racist or what but we had been waiting for a glass of water and the server was busy with others and just ignored us. My friend just walked out to get water from his car. This is ridiculous. And that’s not the only time she ignored what we asked for. We asked for our dessert thrice.
Great service, ambiance and love their daily food specials,including the happy hour apps!!Mimosa and beer for $6 option is also a fave!Recommend Fish& chips (under $20),butter chicken poutine and the fried calamari.Fridays -1/2 price wine bottle!Great place for casual dining experience.
Really noisy. Asked for my steak medium rare and had to send it back because it was way overdone. My friend asked three times for another drink and never got one. Service was way too slow. We went during the week at lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, but service was just way too slow. Réservez une table maintenant
