This is a lovely neighborhood bar that features live bands. It is one of the oldest bars in Pasadena and offers a good variety of beers and wines. They also serve bar food. The atmosphere is unique and inviting, making it a popular spot for younger crowds to gather. They have happy hour specials and drink specials. Convenient parking is available nearby, and the alley entrance gives the bar a distinctive look. Located just one block off of Colorado Boulevard near South Lake Avenue, it is a great place to take a leisurely stroll.
I love T Boyle’s for many reasons. First of all it’s a great sports bar. Second, their tap selection is on target and always pours fresh. Third, great chicken wings and other bar food makes it worthwhile to take time on Sunday morning to quaff a brew, eat some bar food and watch the NFL game of your choice. Fourth, the service is friendly and fast. Fifth, live music and trivia contests make it that much more fun. This is a neighborhood bar nestled in a hidden spot, but completely worth a visit when you are in Pasadena.
I had a great time at this restaurant on a Saturday night. It was peaceful with only a few people watching college football. I tried the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings and it was delicious. The beer was cold and I enjoyed two Ballast Point Sculpins. The bartender, Scott, was fantastic and very attentive. I plan on returning on the last Friday of the month to see the 80's and 90's cover band. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back.
