Tabb's - Réservation de table

The food at Tabb's was truly exceptional. The chef's creative flair was evident in every dish, and the service was top-notch with staff who were very knowledgeable about the culinary offerings. Finding parking was a breeze, especially in the evenings, which was a definite plus. It was disappointing that the restaurant was so quiet, but it may have been due to it being the end of the tourist season. Such high-quality food deserved a larger crowd of diners. The interior decor felt a bit dull and uninspired, which may have contributed to the lack of patrons. The menu options were somewhat limited, though this is common for fine dining establishments.

Nigel Tabb offered a special evening meal featuring his Sunday roast menu between Christmas and New Year. The meal was excellently prepared and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Personally, I would have preferred to have mulled wine upon arrival instead of replacing coffee at the end of the four courses, but this is just a minor detail. The Guinea fowl dish was the standout for me, as Nigel cooked it perfectly. I believe this was a fantastic idea and I hope it becomes a regular occurrence.

The last Sunday roast, which featured venison and Guinea fowl, was exceptional and just so right for early Autumn. I love chefs who use seasonal ingredients and Nigel Tabb does this so well. The last bottle of wine I fancied had been sold the night before, but the suggested alternative was excellent. Great food, service and atmosphere, what more could you want? This restaurant deserves the highest recommendation. Booking is absolutely essential to avoid disappointment.

A wonderful evening of fining ding in Truro. Food was presented well, and tasted fantastic. The starter of the deep fried egg was the star of the evening. Wine selection is varied and well thought out. Thank you Tabbs restaurant for making a special day...

I had tried to make a reservation before but never had any luck. I was able to finally get a table today. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. The staff was very attentive. I am looking forward to going back again.

We had a great meal here. Just enough choice on the menu and the dishes we had were perfectly executed. Friendly unstuffy service. Fair prices. Will definitely return when next in the area.
