This restaurant has been in business for decades but somehow I only recently got around to trying it at the suggestion of the owner of my favorite wine shop. I see no why he raved about it. Everything was very tasty arrived promptly and hot. (The Gambas were still sizzling in the cast iron skillet in which they were served. The Espinacas (spinach with pine nuts and Setas (mushroom with duck egg were especially delicious. Most of the menu are Raciones, which are like Tapas but large enough to share. Three of those plus one Plato were enough for two people and left room for dessert. If you order everything at once it will come out all at once, so either order a bit at a time or be explicit abo...
very nice and varied menu; almost every dish was great. authentic Spanish cuisine, prepared with skill. very impressive wine list, including some charming choices at an affordable price. wishing the tables were a bit bigger, given the number of people they are set for (and the table space needed to share tapas).
TdH is consistently enjoyable and flavorful. It offers authentic Spanish cuisine that is top-notch. The service is excellent, and the cocktails - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - are inventive and delicious. The restaurant boasts the finest selection of Spanish wines in the United States.
Excellent tapas, nice atmosphere and good service. Plenty of patio seating and heat lamps available for autumn. The paella and fried haddock were excellent.
