On May 15th, 2023, around 1:30 PM, I visited Taco Bell for lunch. Upon arrival, there was no one at the counter, so I attempted to use the automated ordering machine. Other than myself, the restaurant was empty, although there were several cars in the drive-thru. After struggling to place my order at the kiosk, I decided to approach the counter for assistance. A young woman in the kitchen told me to wait while she finished what she was doing. Moments later, a man appeared from the drive-thru and loudly instructed me to use the kiosk. I recently visited a Taco Bell location and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff, which immediately made me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. I don't understand what's going on with this taco bell, but the customer service has gone downhill when they used to be great. I understand that they're understaffed and overworked/burnt out, etc. but they can't keep the dining room open AND refuse to take care of customers AND tell them to just use the kiosk AND also not keep the dining room clean, they can't have it both ways. Not everyone wants to use the kiosk, customers shouldn't practically have to be forced to use it. If they're going to keep the dining room open at all, there NEEDS to be someone at the counter, you can't just neglect cleanliness and be rude to customers for using the dining room that you chose to keep open to the pub...
This place has a lot of younger kids who goof around, way too much and don't get people orders right away. I waited 25 mins for my food before I got mad and went to the cashier saying what was going on and cashier forgot my order before I said I order off kiosks. Then said oh. I was the only customer inside the building. Finally got my food the food was sticking on wrapping paper and way too much sauce for that cover tortilla wrap. Stopped here around 9:30 pm on the way home. Service took longer than expected however the food was great. That was the most packed steak quesadilla I've had at a taco bell. They did not skimp!
