Tacos El Chaparrito

The prices are a bit on the higher side, with a rating of 3 out of 5. While I cannot personally recommend their fish tacos due to my seafood allergy, my friends and family rave about them. I tried their asada and Al pastor tacos and found them to be delicious. The tacos are generously sized, but also come with a higher price tag (around $3.25 each). Overall, it is a good spot for fish tacos and a great option for taco lovers during the day.

If you're inebriated, this place might be alright. However, it wasn't as advertised to me. I was unimpressed and wanted a refund (despite not being drunk). The pastor had a mediocre flavor and tasted too light - it needed more intensity. The meat also seemed frozen and tough, not freshly cooked like most places where the meat is sliced from the trompo. The tacos at Soto are much better - significantly better.

update: they have reworked everything. self added handout and busy waiter. the cost they display on their menu, however, are not the ones they charge. menu said that their burritos are $6.99 but they loaded $9.99 I didn't feel like confronting them as I understand trying to get this bag. will not come back soon. my family and I'm going all two weeks here. the food here is delish!

Good fish taco spot in El Monte. The fish was big, crunchy and flavorful. The sauce pars really well. They have Ceviche and many other mexican food options. It can be a bit pricey for fish tacos, but it's something to try. Réservez une table maintenant

I was at the restaurant earlier and saw a man ordering food without a mask. The staff should not have served him as it is not safe during the Covid pandemic. I will not be returning to that restaurant.

Probably THE best taco shop ever? I had the carne asada taco, burrito and tripas. Holy hell the tripas was memorable. I've had street tacos from Mexico and this is up there with it.
