Our family of 5 were passing through Basel on our way to and from Italy (14/08/20 and 20/08/20). Staying at an Ibis hotel in Pratteln.We were looking for something cheap and cheerful (and not McDonalds). This place popped up on google maps and was a 10 minute walk away.They have 6 tables outside and several more indoors. Although at first glance this is a kebab shop with a counter, it’s a table service restaurant. Family run, mum and dad do most of the cooking and son (who speaks perfect English), does everything else.Drinks are help yourself with usual cans and a few tins of beer. Extremely hungry and also very thirsty after a long day out and about with the football. Had a great chat with the owner, a friendly man from Kurdistan, he was good craic and very welcoming.Ordered a doner kebab, which is what one needs after a long day, and a few cans of beer.Sat down at back and enjoyed the cold beers and the kebab which tasted fantastic. Very good, and someday will be back....
