Tafari Tropics Jamaican

I was looking for a great place for Jamaican food and I think I finally found my favorite place. I have tried a few spots in the area and nothing compares the amount of taste and the quality of the service I received from Tafari Tropics. I ordered oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage, plantain and an additional page Curry chicken. The oxtail has amazing taste and not on the amount of meat they serve with the oxtail. The curry chicken again has enormous taste and only the correct amount of spices. I also ordered curry goats with rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. I love Tarafi so much! Absolutely delicious Caribbean food. My only complaint is that food is too sharp. I'm Caribbean I'm not worried, but I just think there's too much ginger in the rice. Ginger is definitely overpowered if you have a lot of it up that the meat contains spices from the Scotch bonus. As a whole, it's too much spice if you know what I mean. Love anyway. I support

I eat from here almost every afternoon. And I try to order different items on the menu. So I absolutely love this place. The service is good and I have no complaints. I'm not from New Jersey so this tastes like home. I've never dined in this restaurant always take out, but the amount of food in a medium platter is more than enough.

Not everyone can make Jamaican food to suit me, but this is the spot. OMG...the oxtail Curry goat. They're clean, good food, friendly I believe honest. Been living in Jersey for a minute and just could not find a good spot without having to drive to far. So glad they are here.

This was my first time ordering from Tropics and I love it!! My delivery took 20 minutes and my food was still hot. I got the curry goat and a carrot juice. The goat was so tender and juicy. And the carrot juice was so fresh. Definitely ordering again!

Customer service is EXCELLENT. They have high quality meat and everything is always fresh. Hands down the best curry goat in this area. The homemade drinks are also really good.. This place will always be a favorite for me and my family!!

I've been a customer for 7 years and I'm always happy and happy. Every catering dish is on time, as ordered, and especially delicious. Even if it's the last minute. Thank you for the great food. You always have a customer in me

The food is freshly made and delicious. The service is also great. The jerk chicken was well seasoned and the rice as thoroughly cooked. I recommend trying it. I am looking forward to trying more dishes from here.

I always order from Tropics- but tonight this was by far the BEST meal I've ever had. Their food is always made with LOVE! You will be filled up and left satisfied. You won’t be disappointed!!

The stew chicken and rice was DELICIOUS, I just didn't get my cake slice and I was really in need of something sweet. Major disappointment which is why I gave 4 of 4 stars.
