Generally good. The place is wonderfully decorated comfortable the lampshades are gorgeous! The huge teddy bears were all sunning themselves outside this time, quite rightfully! Food is all most delicious, but the starters are a bit overpriced for what you get my Kefta Meshiwa (minced beef patties were flavoursome but quite dry supposedly served in a tasty sounding sauce, but that wasn't much in evidence. My friend's Zaalouk (pureed aubergine tomatoes was nice but I don't think was made fresh either as it had an overprocessed quality. I’m upset to write such a review but I visited Tagine for the first time (after wanting to go for so long! last night. We invited some friends over to join and was shocked by the service or lack of! From the start they didn’t seem in a rush to take our order and at this point the restaurant wasn’t even full. After numerous attempts to get the waitress/waiters attention we were finally able to order our starters. Starters arrived great food! We went for a selection to share between the 4 of us. Unfortunately the service yet again was poor as they didn’t remove our starters (despite being finished with them for some time until they came to the table with the main course. The food had room for improvement. The kofta appetizers were a bit dry and lukewarm, and the pita bread seemed like something you'd find at the supermarket. Additionally, the tagine plates could use a good cleaning. It would also be nice if the tagine dish came with a side included, as having to purchase it separately adds to the cost. The dessert was alright, but not particularly memorable.
We had a brilliant time at Tagine restaurant. We especially liked the fish tagine and the mixed grill platter, everything cooked to perfection. Service was great, our waiter Ibrahim was attentive and very friendly and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxing. A perfect night out on a lovely summer evening. Réservez une table maintenant
I must admit the food was absolutely awesome. The service was good. There was a younger male waiter who dropped some of the Tagine juice on the shirt of my friend. We pointed it out as it happened and he didn’t say or do anything about it. That said, I would go back again as the food was fantastic.
