What a complete joke this is not a terminal, but a completely messed up construction zone. You will have to walk through mud, rain, snow and ice to get in and out of that terminal. There is not even a drop off without having to walk for 5 10 minutes through the complete mess. Once you made it to the terminal , don't expect seating anywhere near the gate . Also, don't expect the plane to be anywhere close to the construction zone that you have to enter to catch a flight. For that, you leave the building and walk and walk through the same crappy weather, mud and rain that you experienced getting into that building. Pro: when I arrived and was getting my bag from baggage claim, I had to show my bag tag and they confirmed that I was in fact walking away with my bag only. I always worry about this since no airport before has ever checked and for this reason I try to rush to get to bag pick up asap. Con: on my departure, the TSA line was maybe 200 people long, which I understand for such a large airport. However when I got to the front approximately 40 minutes later an elderly person on a wheel chair was in front of me. She had to get out of her chair stand and raise her hands to get by the full body scan. She had difficulty walking and for her to get through took about 7 minutes. The lack of inefficiency...
I think it's hard to give the most airports a great review. laguardia is a huge airport and has a lot of great restaurants and shopping, but honestly every time I don't work there any of the charging stations. I am not sure what the point is when they are not able to load their phone or laptop. the other one to laguardia is that it looks like I have a connection there, my flight is always delayed. Maybe that's not her fault, but it's pretty annoying!
Let me say I have avoided LGA over the years because it has been terribly maintained and so hard to get in and out of. Well, all has changed this trip and I will definitely use this airport more in the future. The new renovations are fantastic and the space is much more airy and comfortable. Get help from the staff to get around and the seating all has outlets.

Wow, this is the most stunning airport terminal in New York, second only to the one near JFK. The distances between the towers from the 90s and the luggage carousels are vast, and the parking area outside feels like it's miles away. It's easy to get lost without realizing it. I highly recommend visiting it!
First time at Terminal D LaGuardia and hope I don't have to come back. Delta flight, NONE of the charging stations work! Make sure you don't need a charge because you're out of luck. Thank goodness I carry a portable charger!
I visited a newly built shopping center and was disappointed. The dining options were terrible, with passengers eating poorly and no available seating near the stores. It was quite uncomfortable overall.
Airports during Covid do not come to full flower in terms of luxury, but Laguardia does its best to move passengers along in safety and that's what counts.

Wide terminal with lots of seating and space to stand Lots of windows make it bright and welcoming. Great Delay terminal. Clean restrooms.
The B-Team was working on the taxiway on a Sunday, which caused us to wait in silence for 20 minutes just to reach our table.
