Tahina - Réservation de table

I dined at Tahina for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The outdoor seating is lovely, and the food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. The shakshuka, featuring a delightful mix of eggs and eggplant, is a must-try. This place truly stands out and is a must-visit. The freshly prepared hummus with a hint of spice is also highly recommended. We will certainly be returning!

What a delightful spot! The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, adorned with climbing plants and lush greenery. The food is hearty, and the portion sizes are just right. I especially enjoyed the falafel salad, and the hummus was fresh and tasty. The pita pockets were delicious as well! However, the green shakshouka didn't quite hit the mark for me; it could have used a bit more flavor and a stronger kick.

For fresh, cheap, and DELICIOUS food I keep coming back to tahina. Most of it is vegan too which is a bonus.<br/ If we are splitting hairs: the felafel seem to slip a little when it’s busy, it’s like they don’t get as much time cooking. But otherwise could not fault this wonderful place. Would recommend the felafel salad with some of their amazing pita on the side.<br/

The pocket itself was a little dry when it came to the table, but with free chilli peppers, hummas and pickled cabbage it allows you to fill the pocket up with all the extras. Once filled to the max, it brought all the flavours together. A little annoying that I had to make it full and fill it up myself, but atleast the option was available at no extra charge. I took my friend to the Northcote location last week, where he quickly developed a craving for falafel. We decided to check out the Brunswick Street spot, and it was just as great! I ordered the falafel salad, which was incredibly fresh and pure, and the falafels were absolutely perfect. There's also a lovely little courtyard that's perfect for summer days.

I thoroughly enjoyed sharing the platter for two. The house falafels were fantastic. There's a lovely courtyard at the back that adds to the experience. This is an update from my previous review on July 17, 2021.

The staff was lovely and the food came out fast. The outdoor setting is perfect for sunny weather and gives a bit of Mediterranean vibes. A good value for money as they are really generous with their fillings.

Ordered the Monkey salad and Falafel salad and both were delicious. Very large portions too. Service was fast and the staff were polite. Will be back again. Réservez une table maintenant

I came on a Tuesday’s degustation. I love the first entry serve called ‘Spinach and feta Burekas, tahina, zhoug, harissa, pickled cucumber’ the most.

Fantastic food, traditional Israeli cuisine. Simple and packed with flavour. Staff is very very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back.
