I was disappointed with the service. Came in for lunch and while I was seated immediately and asked what I would like to drink, the service ended there. It looked like there was a lunch buffet but I was not told this nor the price. I also was not given a menu nor even told if ordering off the menu was possible during lunch. In short after being seated I was completely ignored and left to figure things out myself despite having 2 or 3 attendants standing around close by. This figuring things out for ones self was also present when coming in the west entrance. One finds one's self in a hallway after entering and then needing to descend stairs into what appeared to have been an empty lower dini...
We ordered tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and mango lassi to drink. The tandoori chicken was so dry I had to dip it in the sauce of chicken tikka masala for me to chew on it. The garlic naan was paper thin with barely enough dough. The service was horrendous. We waited 25 minutes for someone to come and take our order. And we had to wave at the waiter to get their attention. I observed two other tables that were seated after us being served before us. Even though we ordered lassi along with our main dishes, we didn't get the lassi until we were almost done with our dinner. We again had to waive at the waiter and remind him of our lassi order. The food is above average. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is less than average. It’s a bit crowded and open. The buffet is $18 a person for lunch. Not bad for the variety they give you, but a little bit on the expensive side.the service is outstanding and the staff is very friendly.
It doesn't matter if you dine in or carry out. Taj is delectable every single time. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for people with allergies GF or vegan Kid-friendliness: They have a lot of mild dishes for kiddos.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOODIS NOT GOOD AND THEY WERE BEHAVING LIKE A WE CAME LATE AND SO THAT WE CANT REFILL SOME ITEMS ALL THAT MATTERS IS A GOOD RESPONSE BUT HERE IT WAS NOT GREAT SO I NOT RECOMMEND THIS
Great place, awesome food, service is as accommodating as they can considering how constantly slammed they are. Love the family style entrees, will definitely visit again.
Great experience at Taj Mahal. I had the Chicken Kurma it was good, but I really enjoyed the Kheer and the Gajar Halwa. Both were excellent. Well done Taj Mahal!
There were 3 of us and all ordered dishes with lamb as the protein. All 3 were very obviously not lamb, but BEEF! Very disappointed.

I ordered my food and picked it up, the pita bread was warm and homemade. Very delicious for a late night snack.
None better than Taj. Food is scrumptious. Have been going there for over 20 yrs.
