We had visited in the past quite a bit and every time the sushi was not the greatest, quite bland and cold. We however enjoy the appetizers the most. This time we went every single thing we ordered (whichwas almost everything off the menu) was delicious. Everything came out hot and flavorful. I was super pleased with everything this time. I never expect too much from the servers here bc all the orders are taken by an ipad which is the best thing for this type of all you can eat restaurant. Don't expect the servers to be all smiles and friendly. That doesn't bother me as long as they keep up with clearing my table off so more food can come in :) Will definitely go back!
This place used to be a Montanas and still looks like Montanas inside sans all the memorabilia. Not sure why there is still a Christmas tree setup above the door. Lights and all. Festive feeling in August I suppose. The ordering is done by tablet which is helpful for speed and for folks not quite sure what an item is. The food is delivered quickly. Oddly enough you have to order water on the tablet...that was surprising. The food quality was ok. It was not remarkable in anything out side of speed of delivery. It was an ok experience but I would check out other sushi joints when i am back in the area.
On our way home from Florida, we decided to eat in Canada right after we crossed the bridge. We were totally unfamiliar with Windsor but saw Taka and saw it was Japanese so we decided to give it a try. We were happy with our choice -Japanese beer, saki and Dinner for Two @ $27.95. We thought it was good value, good flavour and fresh ingredients. The server was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant was previously a Montana's and it doesn't really look that different inside except that the bar area is now where the food is prepped.
We went for their all you can eat sushi and from the moment we walked in the hostess did not even say hello. The servers came and literally tossed down our food and never said a word when we said thank you. No one checked on us the entire time we were there. The food itself was subpar at best. That's being generous. There were only a couple items that were decent and didn't taste weird. I have yet to find a good sushi place in Windsor. I would never go back nor recommend anyone go there.

This restaurant is the first one that I've been to where you're seated and begin ordering food through a tablet. Select on the screen what you want and hit send and within minutes out comes your food.They have a decent selection including sushi, rice, chicken, appetizers, soup and salads. The all you can eat is relatively cheap and I really enjoy the atmosphere and look the place gives.
Great food, FAST service. So much selection!I love that they have such a wide variety of items and the quality is all incredible. We decided to give it a try randomly one day and we will keep going back! We always tell friends how much we love it too. And great for dinner and a movie across the parking lot :)
The restaurant was very dirty, floor, tables. The food was awful. The thai chicken was tasteless and the noodles were mush. The sesame chicken was tasty-unfortunately we were very ill an hour after eating here. Never again. All you can eat garbage if that appeals.
This was my second visit, last year being the first. Thoroughly enjoyed the concept, ability to try different foods in small portions. Food service was fast after ordering. Service is what it is......not outstanding but not bad either.

Very good just order what ever you want and as much as you want. Just for 1 price pop included. Food is made fresh and small portions so you can order other items on menu.
Large varieties to choose from. Using pad to order your favorite food which is very convenient. Decent food!
