Taki's Greek Kitchen

This was a really nice meal. Unfortunately, the hostess kind of ruined it for me. We had a reservation. When we arrived, we were told that because the weather was nice, they moved all their reservations inside and our table was promised in an hour and half to another party. We managed to finish with five mins to spare. Unfortunately, I was focused on the time more than enjoying my meal. Not my favorite. We had calamari for appetizer and i had the octopus. Both were excellent. My friend had the lamb shank and greatly enjoyed that. I might come back to the restaurant but the frustration about focusing on finishing in time tainted the experience.

This was our first experience with Greek cuisine, and we found it quite enjoyable. We started with the trio of dips, which were full of flavor, accompanied by warm pita bread. The sea bass we ordered was excellent, and the pork shank was truly amazing. The ambiance and service were exceptional. The only downside was that the food was quite salty; it seemed like each dish had about 50% more salt than necessary. Despite this, we would definitely return, hoping it was just an off day regarding the saltiness. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!

Went with a couple of friends for dinner to hangout and catch up. Made a reservation for the patio and was seated promptly. The server was nice and very attentive. The patio was very pleasant and easy to hear everyone in your group talk. All the food we ordered was delicious! The grape leaves are a must and their tzatziki is so good! If your looking for a good strong drink the Zeus Juice will hit the spot. Didn't feel rushed at all, everything came out in a timely manner, and we where able to enjoy all the courses. Will be back again!

I absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent! I ordered the KOTOPOULO STO FOURNO, and the sauce on it was delicious! My husband had the Saturday special, which he also enjoyed, particularly the sausage that accompanied it. We started with an appetizer featuring pita, olives, and the daily hummus, which was flavored with cumin and oregano. The hummus was so good that we even took some home with us. It was the first time I ever liked hummus! We dined in, and the whole experience was wonderful. Réservez une table maintenant

This spot checks off all the boxes! Wonderful hidden gem. I wish I had known about this place a while ago. All my Avon Lake friends have been holding out on us. Amazing patio atmosphere, great service and terrific food!! Lamb shank and roasted chicken are out of this world good! Darrien our server was amazing and apps and food came out very quickly. If you have not been to the place you need to try it asap! Food: 5

I really enjoy Taki's. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food tends to be overly salty. Taki has mentioned that I can request a low sodium option, which I have done, but it's still too salty for my taste.

The food is delicious, with the seafood dishes prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is laid-back, and I haven't encountered any disappointments on the menu; everything has been excellent.
