Tamarind Vietnamese Grill & Noodle House

Tamarind, c'est une histoire d'amour avec la cuisine, mêlée à l'amertume d'un lieu bien trop étroit pour accueillir toute sa clientèle chaque soir.Première tentative très agréable un soir de Toussaint, alors que le personnel distribuait des repas gratuits pour les festivités. Second passage par moi-même, sans réservation. L'attente était de quinze ou vingt bonnes minutes, car la salle de restauration est très vite remplie - juste quelques tables dans les coins de la pièce. Il faisait froid dehors, alors j'ai pris mon mal en patience dans la minuscule entrée. C'est vraiment très petit, et bien dommage compte tenu de leur succès.Les raviolis frits sont délicats et savoureux ; la suite fut tout aussi fameuse. Un mélange de nouilles de riz, légumes sautés, tofu et jambon végétal (une imitation à couper le souffle!). J'ai a-do-ré. La note n'est pas salée non plus, les prix sont très corrects. En somme, un restaurant à recommander à condition que vous ayez préalablement réservé ou que vous vous pointiez à 19h pétantes !

This place is a gem! A menu a vegan or vegetarian dreams of. Everything I had was prepared quickly, served with wonderful service and so tasty. I tried to convince the owner to produce a cookbook with my company it was so good. I had the mango salad which featured the tastiest "assorted hams" made in house and the pad thai which was packed with flavor. Great taste, value and owned and run by the sweetest family. Try and plan your visit as even takeout can have a wait.

I visited Tamarind for lunch with a friend. The decor would definitely benefit from an upgrade, but the food is well-priced, tastes amazing and the portions are huge! There are so many delicious sounding items to choose from - I'll be back! It's situated at the (far) west end of downtown, but very close to the Downtown West – Kerby ctrain station, so it's easy to get to.

Place offers only vegan options, so something New for me. The dish was tasty and i did Not Miss meat, BUT i won't come again, the menue was a Dirty piece of Standard paper, the table was Not really clean and the kitchen does Not Look like a Professional kitchen, more than a Family kitchen...

Heerlijk gegeten, alles vers bereid en een verassende menukaart. Hier moet je gegeten hebben. Prima bereikbaar bij trein station. De bediening is geweldig persoonlijk door de zoon van de familie.
